Max (m) meets Max (f) on the dance floor at university. He fancies her even though he is gay and she is a lesbian. Max (m) is confused. Max (f) tries to help (sometimes). They become best friends.

Set against the backdrop of eighties sexual politics Death and Dancing is a fast and furious comedy that attacks conventional notions of gender and labelling.
